Serhii Palkin is the current CEO of the football club FC Shakhtar Donetsk. He has been involved with the club since the 1990s and has played an instrumental role in its success both on and off the field. He is in charge of all aspects of the organization, including the team's performance, financial management, player recruitment, developing young talents and stadium operations. Under Palkin's leadership, FC Shakhtar Donetsk has won numerous domestic and international titles, including the UEFA Cup in 2009. He is also known for his business acumen, having helped the club become one of the most financially successful in Ukraine. Outside of football, Palkin has been involved in a variety of business ventures, including real estate development. He is widely respected in Ukraine for his contributions to sports and business, and is considered one of the most influential figures in Ukrainian football.
