Kahn's favorite sport is actually tennis and he can be seen at least once a week playing at the Jardin du Luxembourg.

David Kahn is co-owner and President of Paris Basketball, which is the exclusive resident club of the new Adidas Arena at Porte de la Chapelle (18th Arrondissement). Less than 5 years old, Paris Basketball has already established itself as a rising brand in the Paris sports ecosystem. Kahn is a former high-ranking NBA executive with the Indiana Pacers (1995-2004) and Minnesota Timberwolves (2009-13). He was the General Manager of the Pacers and the President of Basketball Operations for the Timberwolves. He also owned and operated four teams in the NBA's G-League (then called the D-League) from 2005-2009. Kahn is an attorney and a former journalist both in newspapers and with NBC Sports. He currently teaches as an adjunct professor at NYU's Tisch Institute for Global Sport.
