Nadav Zafrir is a Co-founder and Managing Partner at Team8.
Nadav brings more than 30 years of operational and investment experience, having served 25 years in the Israel Defense Forces where he culminated his career as Commander of Israel’s elite military intelligence 8200 Unit (the Israeli equivalent to the NSA) and established the Israel Defense Force’s Cyber Command. Unit 8200 is recognized as the de facto talent incubator for the nation’s renowned cyber security and tech industry.
Nadav co-founded Team8 in 2014, leading the firm’s cyber security incubations, including Sygnia (acquired for $250 million by Temasek), Portshift (acquired by Cisco), Curv (acquired by Paypal), Claroty (cyber security unicorn), and more. He is focused on driving global growth for Team8 and is the architect of Team8’s relationships across the business, academic and technology worlds. Leveraging his unique military and investment experience, Nadav travels the world widely, advising Fortune 500 companies, C-suite executives and boards on the critical role of cyber as an integral part of digital transformation and is a frequent speaker at global forums, including World Economic Forum, World50, TechCrunch Disrupt and Google’s Zeitgeist.
