Gregoire de Padirac serves as Partner at Orange Ventures Middle East and Africa, based in Cairo (Egypt). Orange Ventures MEA is a €50m fund dedicated to investments into start-ups across the continent.
For the last two years, Gregoire has managed over 15 investments in early-stage companies in the Middle East and Africa. Gregoire joined the investment team in 2015 and set up the Orange Ventures MEA fund in 2017, first from Dakar before moving to Egypt in 2022. He dedicates himself to investments across Africa and the Middle East from seed to series B. Before, Gregoire was managing digital partnerships with entertainment players such as Deezer in the musical industry for Orange. Grégoire is a graduate of ESCP Europe and the City University of London.
