Steve Dainton is the Chief Executive Officer of the ITTF Group, overseeing the International Table Tennis Federation as the sport's governing body, the commercial entity World Table Tennis, and the humanitarian organisation ITTF Foundation. His vision and dedication have propelled the sport forward, fostering innovation and driving reform. Since assuming the role of CEO in 2017, he has played a pivotal role in unlocking the sport's commercial potential. Under his leadership, the table tennis business has experienced significant growth and expanded into new markets. His instrumental contributions include the establishment of World Table Tennis, the ITTF Foundation, and the development of the ITTF Strategic Plan. Prior to his successful business career based in China and Singapore, Steve Dainton has always had a passion for table tennis, for example he has worked as a table tennis Development Officer in the Oceania region and also as Assistant Coach to the Australian National Team.
