Nicolas Julia is the co-founder and CEO of Sorare, the global sports entertainment company that puts team ownership in the hands of fans. A serial entrepreneur and avid sports fan, Nicolas was inspired to launch Sorare from his own childhood experience of collecting football stickers, combined with his discovery of an innovation enabling digital ownership: non-fungible technology (NFT). Believing that sports fandom could be taken a step further, Nicolas and his co-founder Adrien Montfort set out to build an exciting fantasy game that could connect fans with their favorite players, teams and leagues through ownable, digital collectibles.
Sorare was born in 2018, and since then has evolved into one of Europe’s fastest growing startups, with over 3 million users across 180 countries, 300 partnering sports teams, clubs and organizations and more than 150 employees across Paris and New York.
