Sonja Solomun is the Deputy Director of the Centre for Media, Technology and Democracy and a Faculty Associate at the Max Bell School of Public Policy, McGill University where she works on AI, platform governance and climate.
Sonja is a fellow at the Center for Technology & Democracy in Washington, D.C. and at the Climate Social Science Network (CSSN) at Brown University. She is also a Research Affiliate at the Data & Society Institute in NYC. She is the Co-Founder of the Coalition for Critical Technology, and a founding member of the Platform Governance Research Network.
